It's been a long time since I've updated this blog! Life has gotten a little crazy since the last blog entry. I left Edwards Vacuum on November 12, and started my new job at IDEX Health & Science on November 15th. It's still in manufacturing, but now serving as the Director of Quality. This means I'm no longer working out of home, and go into an office each day. It's a big change! We've worked out a schedule - Brent takes the babies from 7-8am, Theresa has them from 8am-6pm, and then I get home at 6pm. To balance out Theresa's hours, we've put Liv and Will in daycare on Thursdays. They love going, but we've been dealing with all the sickness that comes with toddlers in daycare!!!
They just had their 15 month check. Liv is 19 lb 8 oz. She is 7% for weight, and 23% for height. Will is 22 lb 2 oz. He is 18% for weight, and 40% for height. Generally speaking, they are progressing well....if you exclude the bad luck they've had with winter sicknesses! Liv had an ear infection that really knocked her down, right around Thanksgiving. It was odd seeing her under the weather, because she's so strong! Will has had a tougher go of it. He, too, had an ear infection shortly after Thanksgiving, and is just getting over his second one now. He was really under the weather for the past month, including Christmas - just whining and crying all the time! We've now learned he has pneumonia, but we have no idea how long he's been sick. His fever got so high one night (104.2) that we went to the ER. The next day, his fever plummeted to below 95, which is hypothermia level! His temp has now leveled out, and he's on the healing path, finally! Please, everyone knock on wood that we have the worst behind us.
Will and Liv are both walking everywhere now. They are very busy little babies! Liv thinks she's a monkey, and climbs on everything. I caught her just yesterday climbing up the back of the couch and looking to dive off the edge. They say a few words. Liv's favorites are "uh-oh" and "thank you". Will's favorites is "mama" and "doh". They are good eaters - really nothing that they won't eat, although they have their preferances!

They have such fun personalities. Liv is SUCH a girl. She loves to wrap things around her like a scarf, wear hats, shoes, and will pretend things like napkin rings are jewelry. She flirts with men, and she knows what she wants (and expects to get it). Total girl. Will is such a boy. He loves things with wheels, and likes to figure out how things work. He's still a mama's boy. He loves to help me with laundry, and pulling things out of drawers. They both have a cute sense of humor, and are really starting to play with each other - sometimes they really crack each other up.
So, I'll try to be better at updating this, but no promises! Life is even crazier than I could have imagined with this new job and schedule! Happy New Year to you all from the Wainwrights!
A few more pics before I go...
